A smart casual dress code is suitable if you’re holding a relatively informal wedding. But what is smart casual? The Oxford Dictionary defines smart casual as ‘neat, conventional, yet relatively informal in style,’ so this option provides guests with a very wide scope of clothing choices because it’s all about being smart, without being overly dressy – or overly casual.
A photo album is more of a personal choice rather than a ‘must have’ these days. All the weddings I have photographed have wanted digital delivery so that they can print the photos at a later stage or make their own book/album if they ever want it. We live in a world now where 99% of our photos are on our phone and computers rather than in albums or frames. From a photographers view, it’s easier to not produce an album as the process can be very time consuming. It can also be frustrating for the couple, having to wait for the album to be finished.
List the brides parents and grooms parents on separate lines, starting with the brides. Since both last names are included in the greeting, you don’t need to use either the bride’s or grooms last name. Of course, the same exception we mentioned above would apply here if either the bride or groom has a different last name than their parents. In that case, list out the full bride’s or groom’s name, in addition to the full names of the parents.
